We operate in Western PA and are currently hiring part-time and full-time dispatchers to support the dispatch center in Waynesburg, PA. Responsibilities and Duties · Coordinate capacity and strategically plan for materialshipments · Frequent communication with drivers to verify location statusand dispatch trip plans · Re-direct and divert trucks and equipment as needed · Monitor and confirm accuracy of dispatch entries · Stringently enforce procedures and policies with regards to worksafety · Document incidents promptly and accurately · Manage paperwork including bill of ladings, daily time andmaterial tickets · Continuously collect data throughout shift and update the JobTracker · Utilize software to assign, direct and track vehicles to ensurethat equipment and drivers are utilized to maximum efficiency and thatestablished goals are met or exceeded · Provide subsequent support and communication to customersensuring great customer service Qualifications and Skills · Dispatchingexperience is preferred, not required · Strongcomputer and Excel skills · Excellentcommunication skills · Must thrivein a high-pressure, fast-paced environment · Highability to multi-task · Understandmaps and strong ability to provide directions Benefits · Competitive hourly wage based on experience · Weekly pay · Consistent work · Medical + Dental + Vision benefit eligibility immediately afterhire · Disability + 401K + life insurance benefits eligibilityimmediately after hire · Paid orientation · Part and full-time available · Performance evaluations at 60 days | 6 months | 1 year · Home daily Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Experience: relevant: 1 year (Preferred) dispatching: 1 year (Preferred) Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: One location Benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance
