Hi! I am building an MVP for an educational game. To that end, I am looking for a game or web developer. We'll be building a top-down RPG with basic inventory, crafting, and quest mechanics. This game will be used in an educational setting with 2-20 concurrent users. We're tentatively thinking of using Phaser 3 for its performance on web browsers, as well as its lightweight nature. We are, however, open to other frameworks, provided we can meet the data storage and videochat requirements below.
Because of its niche early education use case, there are a few particulars to note. For one, the application must adhere to some compliance frameworks. We will have many of the major pieces here, esp. around authentication and data storage here that we just need to integrate into the game. Secondly, the game will need to support WebRTC videochat. Again, we have our own WebRTC videochat currently.
We have full stack web development and devops resources in-house so we just need help with the development of the core game assets, i.e. sprites, inventory system. In addition, there's no need to develop custom game art; it's a green field to use or buy existing art/assets as needed.
If interested, please respond with some examples of games you've worked on, preferably with a live demo or deployment.
An example of the experience desired (for videochat, movement, and rooms) can be found at [login to view URL]
Hi, I'm a professional game design & developer with 10+ years of experience. I have completed much work in 2D & 3D game design & development in the past, and I will definitely complete your project. If you award me the project I'd be very happy to discuss this further and get started for you as soon as possible. Thanks! Pavel.K
