Hi - my wife and I are UK based and have been writing and publishing books in the financial market, and we are now moving to fiction which is a new venture for us, and a market where we propose to write some books ourselelves and to have others ghost written, which is what we are looking for as a start. This would then allow us to publish more regularly. We are looking for a ghostwriter to write contemporary romance novels of between 50,000 and 75,000 words approximately. Writers must be experienced and able to create compelling cliffhangers and emotional scenes with a happy ending, and willing to edit and proofread the work as well as provide input for titles. The writers name will not appear on any final work as all rights and royalties will pass to us on completion and you will be required to sign an agreement to this effect prior to starting work. All work is to be checked using Grammarly for plagarism. This is the first of several projects, and I would be grateful if you could provide some samples of your work in this genre. Having written ourselves we understand the time and effort required, so please can you provide some guide prices for a novella of around 50,000 words and a novel between 75,000 - 80,000. We may provide some with an outline, and others where perhaps it might be just an idea to develop. If you could send some samples of your work that would be perfect - also the approximate turnaround times, but this is not a major factor in any decision. I have a long background of reading romance novels. I have always loved the romance genre, choosing to read these over everything else. I can create whole worlds and make you fall in love over and over and over again with my character. I love the first kiss, and the first glance that happens between the Damsel and her Knight; the first word spoken betwixt the two and the fall out that inevitably happens when the Damsel believes the Knight cannot protect her from her fate. Excerpt: I could barely breathe. How dare they do this to me! I was one of their best and they threw me away for a man that couldn't even find his own nose on his face. I had given them all that I was, passed over having a family early for this career. Tears started to fall as I thought back over my time at Cooner & Dugler. I had given so much or them to turn their backs in my time of crisis. I wasn't a crier, that talent beaten out of me by my father but I could feel the need to release the torrent. Why did I have to be strong? Why was I always strong? I gulped back my Jack and Coke, wheezing as it was more Jack then Coke. Signaling the bartender to make it a double, I wiped my face and glanced around. What other sad sap was in here so early in the morning, the time I would usually have had my first cup of coffee and would be settling into my office to start another day. When I saw him, I was wiping the escaped tears from my face. I stopped mid wipe. He was perfect.
