EXPERT NEEDED: Google Cloud Platform & APIs for Wordpress -- 2

IF YOU ARE NOT AN EXPERT WITH GOOGLE CLOUD PLATFORM & APIs DON'T BID! I have a wordpress site that uses the maps API to find the nearest outlet based on USA zip codes. There is a problem with the code with duplicate requests being made using the API, which costs me money every time a search request is made. I have a list of recommendations from Google that need to be implemented to fix this issue. One suggestion is to restrict the API usage, but when that is done the maps on my website stops working. Please don't waste my time. I had two coders attempt to fix this, but have been unable to figure it out. I need an API expert that can fix this. ====================== From Google: After checking, the levels of repetitive requests fro Geocoding are above 80% while for Distance Matrix above 40%. We still see usage in the last days and also we appreciate that the Key is not restricted as explained nor daily limits applied. I will here share with you some protective measures you have to take to control this. This is also necessary if you are to request a one-time adjustment request of the charges. A. Put restrictions to your API key in order to prevent unauthorized usage and quota theft - which may lead to unexpected charges to your account. To learn more about protecting your API keys, please follow our guide for API key best practices [1][2]. In this case, please restrict as per your IP Address. B. You can also avoid unexpected charges by limiting the number of API calls you can make per day or per second. Set up per-API usage limits by going to the API Console [3], select an API, navigate to the Quotas tab, and edit the daily or per-second quotas [4]. Here is a video [5] on how to do this. This is important, so that you are sure you won't go through a certain number of monthly requests. There is a tool next that shows you a monthly cost for a certain number of requests per API. Just add a value and then divide it by 31 to get a rough daily value you can set as Daily limit: [login to view URL] C. Set billing budgets and alarms To control your spending, you can set billing budgets and alarms so that you are notified when your usage reaches a given budget. Here’s how [6]. Here is a video [7] on how to do this. D. You can use Programmatic Budget Notifications in order to perform custom actions when reaching spend thresholds. For instance, you can disable billing on your project when reaching the free tier limit [8]. E. Load testing should be done against a mock (fake) API — a service that can absorb high amounts of requests and reply to them with valid responses, without involving the Google Maps Platform. Thus you can load test your application without risking being blocked by the Google Maps Platform. Check out please this [9] link.
