Competitive League Gaming Site

We are a Brazilian gaming site that gamers can find competitions and other gamers to test their habilities, have fun and even win money if you are really the best. We offer a complete website with social functionalities, free and paid tournaments, special events, news, private tournaments, downloads, and live streaming.

We are looking to develop our new version (v3) of our site, which consists mainly of a portal with social functions and a league system, a system where users can create teams, play matches, report them, see results, create tournaments, etc…

Most of the webpages of the site are already designed and ready for coding, (CSS and HTML done) in fact the coding could start immediately since most of the main pages are done. The site must be coded in PHP and although it may seem a complex and long project, most functionalities are used in millions of sites, the only difference being this league system.

General Information:

- All site must be coded in PHP

- Most of the design of all webpages are already done (70% done)

- Support for different languages, example: /br/ (Brazilian Portuguese) /es/ (Spanish) /en/ (English)

- All site comments in AJAX system (Facebook style)

- User and team profiles have simple bar and pie graphs. (Plugin and format ready)

- News system, divided into categories.

- Users can submit news, videos, and game reviews. Admin later accept them in admin panel.

- Sub pages to show content for a certain game.

- Integrate Youtube videos and [url removed, login to view] streams on site.

User System:

- User profile with information, photos, recent activities, friends, statistics.

- Option to crop uploaded pictures.

- Video and Photos Gallery (Videos through Youtube links)

- Friend system

- Private message system between all users. Also used for notifications

- Users can create team profiles and be part of many teams.

- Team profiles with same informations as users profiles, plus: matches statistics, recent matches, team members, more statistics.

- Trophy system: users and teams get trophies on pre-defined parameters. Example: “Trophy for 50 victories in team games”.

Community System:

- Integrated forum (simple boards)

- “Bracketmaker” system: a page where users can create their tournaments by choosing the format, and adding teams or players from the website. Users can then edit and add results. Ex: [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]

- Download area, with rating, download count, and comments.

- Photo Galleries

League / Ladder System:

- League/Tournament system with brackets, point system, results, past matches and statistics.

- Admin creates type of tournament, league or ladder and add teams and results.

- Ladder system with screenshot upload, user post results, and points system based on the “ELO Point System”

- Match page with comments, maps, time of match, informations.

Comments:

- The website is like many others community sites with profiles, forum, comment system, news, etc.. the difference is the team/league/ladder system, and probably the time consuming part to code.
