Create a custom hybrid image.

As a going-away present for a very close friend, I would like for an artist to create an image with a few components (listed below). They are mostly relics of stories and inside jokes over the years, and ideally the image would be (or at least appear to be) stylized or illustrated by hand. I can photoshop images together on my own; I'd rather have something illustrated. I am open to other interpretations though, if someone has another idea they're willing to demonstrate. The primary image is my friend's house (attached). Somewhere in front of the house, there needs to be a tall man with his face obscured by something (book/newspaper/turned away/whatever). What should be visible is that he is wearing a small white fedora with a gray band, and that he has a black sword on his hip. He should be well dressed. If he's doing something that's out of place in front of the house, that's no problem (e.g. sitting in an armchair, reading a book, etc.), but it should be clear that he is waiting outside. The time of day should be evening, and there should be silhouettes in both windows. In the window on the left, there should be a man and a woman, with the man facing the woman and the woman facing away (I lean against the doorframe in the kitchen and talk to her while she cooks). In the window on the right, there should be two small girls (she has two daughters). Those details in particular are important to me, and I'm interested in anyone's interpretation of it. But if it ends up just a simple, illustrated image as described, so much the better.
