Hi, I'm an InDesign expert and I can help you in this project. According to the French file you'll send, I think the easiest way is just to put comments in the pdf you already have. This will minimize errors. If you don't feel comfortable to do this, it's ok to sent a word or even txt file. If you choose me to finish this project, you just need to know that I use InDesign CS4 and I'll need a package of your indd document and also idml file (if your file is made on a higher version of the program). I've had a look at your booklet and it is a straightforward exercise for me but I do have a couple of questions: - will you supply the illustrations/photographs? - is the InDesign template already in place or does this need to be created from scratch? - is this to be printed or only viewed on screen? Your suggestion of translating the pdf into Word is absolutely the best way to go. I can copy the translation over from Word into the InDesign template and format it there for perfect typesetting and aesthetic appeal. The booklet will then be packaged into your own InDesign file with a pdf. Hello there, If you wish to award me on this project, i am listing my requirements as in two options below; A- Fastest & cheapest way 1- Convert the PDF text to word and send the translation with the same word format. (all of it including headers ETC) 2- Send me all the pictures your English PDF contains if you have them B- Slower & expensive way (more time is required) Just send translation in word format, i can use google translate to understand which part of the pdf contains that information. I will simply work only 4 hours a day for this project. I am guessing this project can be done within 1-2 weeks if the A option is provided. First i will create the template and blank pages containing the illustrations (anything without text i can copy from the pdf file) Then i will start filling them with the text. Finalizing will be text redecoration et cetera and it will come right after every page is filled with the text. If B option is selected, this project can last longer than two weeks. I will send unfinished pdf file from time to time to provide proof of work. I want weekly payments. I will also provide the editable indesign file just in case if you need it as a template in the future. I am an Indesign Expert and i can easily handle this project.
