Design job, potentially ongoing

We need a quality designer to follow our briefs designing packs of 12 cake toppers, see the attached images of toppers we currently produce for inspiration... In some occasions this will involve 12 separate designs on a topper sheet, sometimes 6, 4, 3, 2 or just the 1 repeated image. Each design we ask you to create for us will have a specific brief of repeated QTY, size and ideally we will provide an example of the style we want too from a competitor/example image. Some of our designs are stand up toppers (rather than standard circular files which we cut on our lasers here and just get put onto a cake)... these will also require an illustrator plotter file for the laser cutter to follow too as all of our designs are pre-cut. All designs you create for us will also require 'listing images' these are images we can put on ebay/amazon in order to sell the overall sheets. We will need you to quote an hourly rate along with how many images you think can create in an hour so that we can work out what we think it will cost us per design. Designers who apply will need to be aware that all content they design will be owned by our business. We have a contract that you will need to sign before work is started which states we are the rights holder to any design you produce for us. Initially we will agree a trial for a handful of applicants (who will all be paid), once we have the designs back from you we will pick our favourite designer(s) and we will begin working with you. To be selected you will need... * To be able to follow a very specific brief in terms of size, characters, colours, layout etc. * Good communication - we will expect to see samples of every design we ask you to create in progress to ensure we are happy you are on the right track. * You will also need to speak good English, however you dont need to be English and can be based anywhere worldwide. * Quality and Attention to detail is incredibly important, we reserve the right to reject poor designs and look for another designer immediately. * You will need to supply all files in the formats and file names we ask for within a pre determined deadline. Finally, to give you an idea of scale of this project the current design list we have includes 50 different sets of toppers in it which works out at approximately 500 images. This is a long term job which if done well will lead to lots more design work as we constantly want to add to our range with new designs - in fact I could probably make that list up to 100 sets of toppers and 1000 images quite easily if the right person applies.
