Men's dress shirt company is looking for an illustrator to create visual aids from fabrics.
Fabric scans will be given, it is your task to show on a blank shirt template how these fabrics might look if they were actual shirts. Experience with shirts not required, though preferable. Should understand how fabrics are usually laid onto a shirt, simple terminology such as inner cuff, inner collar band, yoke etc.
This is just a sample for review, if everything is in order there will be additional jobs. Typically 10-20 shirt designs each time a buyer requests for them.
1: Take a look at [url removed, login to view] and edit the cuffs so that they are opened up. This is to illustrate inner cuff fabrics. (Just for the first time. The new template will be used for future jobs).
2: Use the striped fabric as a reference and draw/photoshop the design onto the blank template ([url removed, login to view]).
3:Use the dark blue fabric for the inner collar band and the inner cuffs.
[url removed, login to view] is a white shirt with a blue checkered inner collar band and cuff. This is for reference only, has nothing to do with the project.
