I have a marketing business & I need to rebuild a clients website it has a lot of issues. I had an analysis done. Here are the main things that we found that you should be aware of. 1. They are redirecting the site to an HTTPS but there is not a valid security certificate in the site so Google is automatically going to stop people from continuing to the site. Since about 65% of all internet use is done from Google Chrome this is a huge issue. Basically people are directed to a big red screen that says "THIS WEBSITE IS NOT SAFE. DO NOT PROCEED." and they have to know how to go into the advanced options and acknowledge the risk of continuing just to view the site. That's not good but is a simple fix with a correct and valid SSL certificate. 2. When we got to the site we noticed some obvious Java and Style Scripting issues that make the margins of the site cut the logo off and make some other aesthetic elements look bad. I am also going to attach some screenshots I took from my desktop and phone so you can see what it looks like for a new customer trying to get to your website. 3. I also ran a quick report to see how they show up in terms of credibility and rankings on search engines. Just wanted to see how they stack up against competitors in the Orlando area for Roofing and Construction projects. I couldn't find their website in the top 100 results. This is a definite call to action to make some major improvements to their website and to commit to a comprehensive SEO strategy.
