Sandal Design

Designing a Sandal line (4 different sku"s) that's similar but not identical too existing styles on the market.

Plans to begin the process for this project are broken down into these simplified steps:

- I have done research on slide and thong direction so Designer will start by creating a mood board for design inspiration.

- From there they will move on to the rough sketches for outsoles (topsoil, midsoles, outsoles) as well as the upper’s designs... Narrowing these down to the options that stand out to us as our favorites.

- Next we go to the rendering phase, working from the preferred sketches and fine tuning the actual design, details, features and color option variants.

- Following step is choosing the top 2-3 renderings and move them into the vectoring phase, where we map out the exact shapes, measurements, logo placement locations.

- After that is the finalized specs lists for the factory to work from. They will also need all of the map files to create the moulds for the initial samples.
