Bar code and image control for mobile devices

1. Requirements a. Delivery i. Requested controls will be delivered in a project that will include a UI with a Functioning sample of each control. b. Camera Bar Code i. Response stimulus: 1. A control will open a camera preview and use the camera to scan a bar code. 2. When a barcode has been read, close the preview and store the text from the bar code into a text input. ii. Technical Requirements 1. Technology Stack: a. HTML5 b. AngularJS c. If required will allow the use of JQuery 2. Styling: a. Unstilled control only 3. Hardware Support a. Mobile Devices i. Android ii. Apple b. Please indicate if your proposed solution will require specific hardware or software versions 4. Bar Code details a. We will provide a sample of two bar code fonts, but this will need to be able to read a variety of bar code fonts iii. Optional Requirements 1. QR Code support would be nice to have, but is not a firm requirement. Please quote separately. c. Image Uploader i. Response stimulus: 1. A control will open a camera preview allow for multiple pictures to be taken. 2. The images will be presented to the user and they will be able to select which pictures to upload to the application. 3. A parameter from the UI with the name prefix will allow a Work Order Number, or any other data element to be provided to the control. The control will then add a unique index to the end of each prefix indicating the datetime and index of the image: a. Example: [login to view URL] 4. This preview will be able to be reopened until submission 5. On submission the images will save to a folder location on the web server, this location will be supplied as a parameter 6. The image names will be stored as a json array and will be stored in database. 7. The images will not store locally to the device. ii. Parameters: 1. Inbound: a. Image Prefix: i. Used to indicate the Work Order, Sales Order, or Serial Number to identify the image b. Folder Location: i. The storage location for the image c. Image Resolution: i. The size the resulting image should be d. File Size i. The size the photo files should be 2. Outbound: a. A Json Array with the name of each image being uploaded iii. Technical Requirements 1.
