help me with my shopify website (california theme)

hi, i need someone to help me with my shopify website before i send it live.
there are a few things i want changed and i know its only possible through editing the html in the backend. i am using the california theme.
the things i need fixed are:
the home page: it shows only one row of featured product on the home page but i actually would like 3 different rows of featured product for all of my collections. These are nursery, home and custom.
the second thing is: the product description page. i have between 7 -8 different colour variants of each product and instead of them all being shown one underneath the other through the theme, (showing 7 pictures) i would like just one picture shown and then the selected picture to pop up when you click that colour varient through the drop down box.
Is this something you can help me with?
