Samsung SmartTV IPTV application

We want an IPTV client for Samsung SmartTV platform. It should list available channels , play and stop them and to display textual [login to view URL] are the full requirements:

1.

a. The application should be written entirely in HTML/CSS/JS

b. Complete source code should be provided (i.e. no minification/obfuscation of the code)

c. It is allowed to use open source libraries and technologies to ease the development

(JavaScript libraries, CSS pre-processors)

2.

a. The application should work on Samsung Smart TV platform 2013 and onward

b. The application should support live TS streaming (encoded with h.264 / mp3)

c. DRM should be supported for streams

3.

a. Basic / barebone UI should be included that lists the stream titles on the left hand side of

the screen and mini-view with live stream on the right hand side of the screen

b. It should be possible to switch between mini-view and full screen for the currently playing

stream using the remote control

c. It must be possible to switch between different streams upon navigation on the left hand

side listing using the remote control

d. It must be possible to start playback, stop playback and pause playback using the

remote control

e. When in fullscreen mode textual overlay should be displayed for 15 seconds with

information about the stream (title and relevant information if any).

The UI design is not determined precisely and is not of importance should point 3.a is executed.

Test streams will be provided upon request.
