Small Wordpress Changes

I already purchased the following theme and want to keep most of it [login to view URL] I have begun working on it- but am having trouble resizing the pictures and customizing the site to suite my needs. I really just want the home page changed and the blog page to be cleaned up. ( it is much too busy) I would like pictures on my site [login to view URL] resized so they are the same dimensions as the template above. I want to keep the 4 boxes (let’s work, workshop, make some noise and let’s talk) but ….I only like the top half of the home page. Thes second half of the home page needs to be cleaner- it is too busy I want to remove the blog postings and calendar. I would like a testimonials plug in to replace the blogs – so the page and its content to connecting pages would have to be removed altogether. The last element of the website’s home page has a call to action contact box—for people to contact me- it is much too large. I want a box that is smaller but similar to the “sign up” box on www.marieforleo.com. I want to spend 30$ to do this.
