We want an artist to design two unique sci-fi map designs (see sample images of what we want it to look like).
Make sure you read all the requirements in its entirety before bidding, we'll assume your bid is your actual general cost (with small wiggle room based on clarifications), otherwise, if you ask for a lot more, we will immediately cancel your bid.
The maps will be (top-down view or preferably isometric) maps designed for a sci-fi game in development, the designs should be close to "Tron" styles with LED-light strips and very smooth and hi-tech constructions. Should be detailed enough that you can see the vehicles and drones clearly. Since this commissioned work will be used for our game in development, all rights/copyrights for the completed work will belong to our company (so ensure that any assets used are either original or licensed for our commercial use).
In the Raw file (PSD/AI, etc..) Please have a separate layer for the buildings, one layer for the contents/vehicles, and one layer for the grid.
Map 1: Above Ground - Surface Base. Each building takes up its own Hexadecimal footprint which is shiny - smooth metallic. The footprints are all of equal size, and should fit the largest building, which is the factory and landing port. LED light strip for each building's footprint.
1- Hexadecimal force-field perimeter surrounding the entirety of the base
2- Turrets at each of the eight points
3- Radar Station
4- Road connecting the entry gate into the main base entrance, Garage and Landing Port
5- Base Entrance (allows you to enter the underground base through an elevator - guarded by turrets on the roof)
6- Large Factory (show an example of a truck under construction)
7- Garage (show an ATV parked)
8- Landing Port (show a space shuttle craft parked, and some storage crates around the landing port)
9- Flying Drones Port (show 9 ports with sentinel (combat) drones, construction drones, and transporter drones)
10- Power Channel (connect buildings together for power)
11- Storage Silo (protected by a force-field, stores crates and canisters - show example of a transporter drone dropping one of the crates in the silo)
12- Materials Channel (connects Refinery, Storage Silo, Base Entrance, and factory)
13- Refinery (drones drop raw ore in here for refining) connect to Materials channel. - requires ops table
14- Resource Extractor (place a mining building/extractor on top of a glowing outcropping of crystals)
Map 2: Underground - Lab and quarters. Some of the rooms are larger (like the Living quarters, Lab, and Forge).
This is a futuristic underground lab, there will be hallways and large automated doors for entering each of the rooms, except for the entry way
1- Entry way (This connects the surface entrance to the underground entrance, guarded by smaller turrets pointing at the elevator)
2- Power Plant Room (show a large power generator, and crates of batteries for keeping the plant going)
3- Engineering (Has several docks for drones, Life Support, and some terminals for general repairs and engineering management)
4- Operations Room (has a large operating table in the middle showing a holographic map of the surface, and some terminals around the room for other operational jobs, manned by a couple of robots)
5- Living Quarters (Has VR Pod, a living room (sitting area with TV) open to a kitchen area, a bedroom with a storage chest and wardrobe, connected to a shower and sink - no toilets)
6- Laboratory (have 5 different stations with terminals and some scientific object, for different types of research, and servers on the other side)
7- Armory (storage and display for weapons and armor)
8- Infirmary (medical facility, with four special medical pods)
9- Bio-Engineering (has 6 tubes with various creatures, a human, and a robot in them, plus terminals)
10- Forge (has crafting stations for weapons, armor, and drones.)
11- Conference Room (has a large conference table and chairs)
12- Mess Hall (kitchen and dinner tables)
