Hi, my name is Jerry and I’m a PPC marketer.

I would like to find an assistant who will help me create a PPC campaign.

I already have a keyword list of 33644 keywords.

This assistant will have to:

[url removed, login to view] unrelated keywords from the keyword list.

[url removed, login to view] the keywords into tightly targeted adgroups (1 to 10 keywords) using Excel or adwords Editor, or another tool of your choice.

[url removed, login to view] keywords that don’t fit into the 1st campaign and put them in a separate keyword list.

You ABSOLUTELY NEED TO HAVE experience in grouping keywords for a PPC campaign.

If you don’t have any experience, JUST DON’T BID PLEASE!

Yes, don’t bid. I’m really serious. This is something that requires experience in order to master, so please abstain.

Along with your bid, please show some kind of proof that you have experience grouping keywords for a PPC campaign. Thanks.

**Now, please read the full version below to have all the details:**

## Deliverables

**Now, let’s explain in greater details:**

(please read everything and make sure you understand everything perfectly before bidding)

The product I’m promoting is software that helps users updating their PC drivers.

So;

**1.** You will have to remove all the keywords that DON’T RELATE to: hardware device manufacturers

(for example: Epson, Lexmark), device names (for example: Ethernet card, usb flash)

and pc errors or problems that can be fixed by updating PC drivers (for example: no sound on pc).

To be safe, it should be wise to remove the most unrelated keywords

(for example: download mp3 songs, find video clips online, etc).

After I take a look at what you have done, I will be more specific so you can remove more unrelated keywords.

REALLY IMPORTANT: When you remove keywords, DON’T DELETE THEM.

I want to see what you have removed, so put the removed keywords into a separate list (excel). You could call it “[url removed, login to view]?.

**

2.** Next, you will have to group keywords into tight and very specific adgroups.?

This is REALLY important. Since you can create different groups with the same keywords, I want you to respect this priority:

- Start by segmenting the keywords by BRAND NAMES (example: ati).

If a keyword has a brand name in it, put it in its dedicated adgroup.

-Next, segment the keywords by model name or sub-brand (example: ati radeon)

-You also have to become more specific in the model name:

(for example: ati radeon 4100). If you have to do 1 keyword per adgroup for specific model names, do it.

-Next, segment the keywords by device names (example: Hp printer)

When a keyword doesn’t have a brand into it, then segment it by device name. Otherwise, you absolutely have to segment it using the brand name.

*Here’s a concrete example:*

The keyword “Hp printer drivers?? should NOT go into the “Printer?? adgroup, it should go into the “Hp Printer?? adgroup.

This is a very obvious example, but it can become trickier for long-tail keywords and sometimes it’s NOT really evident.

That will help you:

-The adgroup names must respect a very specific format and you should group from a really tight theme to a broader theme:

You have to start with;

{BRAND}{SUB-BRAND}{MODEL NAME OR NUMBER} ? ? ? EXAMPLE: “Ati Radeon 4100??

then;

{BRAND}{SUB-BRAND} (when there’s no model name or number) Example: “Ati Radeon??

Then;

{BRAND}{DEVICE NAME} For example: “Ati Card?? or “Ati Graphics?? or “HP Printer??

Then;

{BRAND} (when there’s no sub brand and model name) Example: “Ati??

Then;

{DEVICE NAME} {DEVICE SPECIFICALITY}? ? For example: “Flash Drive 2GB??

Then;

{DEVICE NAME}? (when there’s no brand name) example: “Graphics??

Also, when there’s an operating system in the keyword, add it at the end of the adgroup name. For example: “Ati Radeon XP?? or “HP Printer Vista??. Pretty simple.

It’s important that this segmentation structure is respected as well as the adgroup names:

It cannot be in another order than the ones above.

Example of what _NOT TO DO_: “Card Ati 4100??

which is: {DEVICE NAME}{BRAND}{ MODEL NAME OR NUMBER}?

To make it even clearer than ever:

If you can add “Download?? before the adgroup name and “Drivers?? after the adgroup name, then it’s perfect, it’s exactly what I want:

Example:

“Download Ati Radeon 4100 Drivers??

I think you get the point. I’m making this very clear because this is really important.

In order to achieve a good grouping, you will have to research brand names, sub-brands and model number to understand the keywords you are grouping. It makes sense.

**3.** When you will have grouped all the keywords into tight adgroups, there will be keywords that you will have to move to another list.

These keywords are more geared towards: problems, errors, missing drivers, fixes, repair, issues and so on.

I don’t want you to group these keywords.

There can also be keywords that are not geared towards fixing a problem but can still relate to updating PC drivers. Put them in this list.

Here are some examples of keywords that would go into this list:

“audio problems??, “error code 39??, “computer no sound?? “modem problems??

For example: If you put “fix modem problems?? into the “Modem?? adgroup, remove this keyword and put it into this list.

It’s really important. Really important. You could call the list “other [url removed, login to view]?(excel file).

I would like to create a dedicated campaign for these keywords so you absolutely have to remove them from the list.

Just a reminder, DON’T bid if you don’t have experience doing this.

Thanks a lot,

Take care,

Jerry.
