$2-30 USD / hour
We're looking for an additional Java developer who will work with us to contribute extensions to a currently "in-development" reporting and analytics application written in java.
The system is comprised of a Desktop Client (written in Swing) and a Server/Web-App (written in Spring/Struts 2).
The core of the application has *already been developed*.
You will be responsible for extending this application with new screens (modules) for capturing new data fields and generating reports and charts based on those data points.
This job will require **20-30 hours / week.**
You will be working alongside our lead coder who has worked on this project for over 1-year. Our lead coder is based in San Jose, CA. You can work from home or in our offices if in the Los Angeles area.
These extensions and add-ons to this application will take approximately 3-4 months.
Required skills:
- Java 5 (or 6)
- Swing and thread-based programming
- SQL/JPA/Hibernate
- Spring 3.x
- Struts 2
- Experience with JGoodies layout and binding frameworks a plus
Please submit your information/interest so that you can sign an NDA and hear more about this really amazing Enterprise application that you can be a part of for years to come.
This is a unique software development project that will be sold to hundreds of customers upon completion, we look forward to hearing back from skilled and passionate developers to continue working with us after the initial 3-4 months of work and build on the software suite as it grows.
Thank you
