I need a simple Java application that connects to a websocket and listens for a specific data type. (in this case a matched price). The app will take a commandline argument: Alarm Setting -- (i.e. alarmOver nnn -- triggers if price is above nnn, or alarmUnder nnn - triggers if price drops below nnn) Alarm Sound (i.e. alert=n) Local config file contains list of alarm sound files (wav/mp3) indexed by number. i.e. alarm|1|c:\users\me\[login to view URL] This would play c:\users\me\[login to view URL] if alarm=1 was set on the CLI arguments. Other than that, the file should add an entry into a logFile stating that it triggered and on what condition before exiting. Websocket source is gdax.com. The API is all open and online. A java API also already exists that should do 99% of this already. So it should be a really simple project.
