Animation framework using JavaScript

we will pickup a suitable open-source mit licence JavaScript animation library, that allows us to create simple text and image animation in 2d layout. i have chosen a few library, but it will be a mutual decision. User interface will be html, with basic inputs. StopMotion [login to view URL] user, can define a frame and let it animate is a feature to look for.
