Hi: I am chinese web programmer. Have been building sites with rails since three years ago. Have both backend and frontend experience. B2C experience is very important for this task. In my last two year my job is to develop a B2C platform. So I believe i can handle this task. I also have ability to build a distributed file system to store the assets of your site. The ability to manage assets like image and other files is very important for a eCommerce site. If save the assets save to server folder, it will not be safe and hard to manage. If you choose to use a third party service which will not be chip. But I can build a DFS which is safe and chip in a short time. The communication is the most difficult part for a remote cooperation. My solution is to deploy, daily or weekly, the app in developing to a server which you can access. By this way, it will be easy to exchange our thoughts in time. Finally, help customer to deploy and make sure the app is running well is very import.
