LAMP Developer

Are you a technically skilled and experienced LAMP web developer? Do you currently work independently and would like to get steady volumes of work? A long running (4 years) and successful independent web consultant and developer is seeking a technical partner or free-lancer with which to take the business forward. There are no longer enough hours in the day to handle all aspects of the workload and the need to focus on the business, sales and customer handling requires the bulk of the technical work to be dealt with. The right person needs to be: * able to work from the company office in Edenbridge, Kent. * an experienced LAMP developer (PHP, and Perl a real bonus for older work) * a self-starter, able to work unsupervised when required * happy to work directly with customers Graphics will be provided by associated graphic design agencies whilst CSS and XHTML will continue to be handled by the existing consultant. However all additional skills are most welcome including any of the following: * Graphics * CSS / XHTML * ActionScript and Flash * SEO and PPC * Drupal Great pride is taken in the solutions created, the work produced, and the warm, friendly and professional office environment. Customer service and meeting deadlines are paramount. To begin with, work will be allocated on a project-by-project basis. You will need to be provide a fixed number of man-days, and therefore cost, during which time you will work from the Edenbridge office and help to handle incoming enquiries if needed (even if its just to be a person at the end of the phone who can take a message!). Gaps between projects will be kept to an absolute minimum, and any specific periods during which you will be unavailable, if agreed in advance, will be taken into account.
