I used Arch Linux for the first time in awhile, and updated the packages in the wrong way. The system is now corrupted and I'm unable to start it. I'm looking for someone to walk me through restoring it, as although I know how, I don't trust myself to do it properly.
They were backed up with rsync I believe to another partition that I was able to see by running Arch Linux in a live USB and mounting it. However I can't find my backup script in my backed up version to confirm if I used rsync or another package.
Looking for someone to walk me through what commands to enter, I'll provide the output, and hopefully I can get the system working whether by restoring it or if someone knows how to fix whatever I did to corrupt it.
Most recently I did cp to copy the restored version to the corrupted partition, but entered the command wrong because it copied it as an entire folder instead of the contents of the folder.
At that point I realized I should probably ask someone who knows more than me to make sure I don't mess it up.
Please include the words "restore OS" in your bid so I know you read this.
