YES, I CAN!
Hello,
Every business model or strategy design project is unique, and presents its own challenges, obstacles, and critical success factors. Usually for the development of a strategic plan I use the approach below as a starting point:
1) Mobilization
2) Research and analysis
3) Strategy design
4) Strategy implementation
5) Track implementation and adjust to environment
1) is dealing with preparation activities during which I try to understand motivations behind the project, familiarize myself with the client's industry, and gather together all main stakeholders to get their visions and expectations of the project.
2) covers research and analysis activities. Here I use popular tools such as Porter's Five forces, SWOT, PEST(LE), Business model Canvas etc., to collect and evaluate data about the business environment (int+ext).
3) focused on possible options for addressing identified issues aiming to re-design business model
4) covers the implementation of the strategic options
5) tracks implementation activities and monitors relevant indicators about client's business. During this activity I offer industry analysis and research services (step 2) in order to continuously assess market dynamics, monitor the impact and opportunities presented by business and technology changes, and to adjust direction to ensure constant movement toward defined goal. In this way I try to maintain an agile approach within the overall strategy formulation process.
Regards,
Petar
