Hello, I’m looking for employees for my online math tutoring website.
I almost forgot, needed to make an introduction. My name is Tristan, I’m a sophomore in college right now and the basis of what I’m trying to accomplish is make David Kolb’s Learning theory much more well known.
David Kolb’s learning theory (created in 1971) contains 4 learning steps in the cycle 1. Reflective observation (this is where we look back at how the lesson the teacher is showing us actually relates to our past experience) 2. Abstract conceptualization (where we theorize and discuss our ideas on the lesson) 3. Active experimentation (testing what we’ve learned from abstract conceptualization) 4. Concrete experience (in this stage we put this lesson into action)
The reason I’m doing this is mainly because I want to improve our education system and hope that students will be able to teach themselves new things outside of school instead of just within the walls, but it’s unfortunately just me at the moment and I have no experience with tutoring.
