I can assist developing your firmware nicely. I will use SDCC instead of COSMIC compiler as I found its more convenient to use SDCC free compiler which has very good support for STM8 series. although my main development areas are ARM based cores and STM32 is one of them, I still love to code the hard way for those 8 bit series and I have few development boards as well to test the basic firmware of this job.
