Convert large Windows MS Application to Browser-based Web Application

Hi Sir/Madam, I have been working at Sharepoint for 7 years. I have experience with SharePoint installation, configuration, development, migration, and integration with 3rd party tools. I worked with Sharepoint Online and On-premise( 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019). I developed lots of modules like audit management, document management, skill management, and meeting management. I devrloped intranet, extranet and web portals. Its not possible to convert from VBA to any other language. There are no automatic converters. THis app needs to be re-written from scratch in either PHP/MySQL or ASP.Net/MSSQL. I am an expert PHP (and Access/VBA) programmer and re-write your application as a PHP web app, so that it functions mostly the same as it now does in Access. Below are my ideas related to your project. * Backend, we even don't need to do modifications, because data are saved in MS SQL Server? * Frontend, we can use the Access Application as a prototype, I see you said don't want to create from 0, but there isn't convenient way for this part. We need implement the UI through JS and HTML. * Communication between UI and backend: Web API, ASP.NET MVC. * About conversion between VBA and C#, I think many functions may very easy to implement in C# (say 20 lines VBA code = 1 line C# code) - An example is collections and linq, lambda expression. * About the 400 queries: are the SQL statements? Hi. I have gone through your requirements. There are a few tools that can help you convert your MS Access Database to web applications like Zoho Creater, Antro Controls, etc. But since you have a large, complex and mature application, sooner or later you will need to get rid of all dependencies and develop a proper web application for your system, which will need to be developed from scratch. It might sound un-practical but sooner or later you will have to come to this solution as this is probably the only scalable solution that will work for you in the longer run. Using converters will cost you now and will always keep you dependent on them and you will not get the flexibility you might need in the near future. I recommend that you take the hard step now and get your application converted to a proper web based application now. Best of Luck!

Hello, if you are looking for powerapps and you want to use your sql as backend then we can do that. We can utilize your sql as backend however it is now and forms can be designed using powerapps. If forms contains html and you want to use the same then we can go with sharepoint also. After getting more information we can have the better solution. Regards, Shubham
