Extend Office Add-in to support Microsoft Outlook

Annotate PRO is a Microsoft Word add-in leveraging Office.js. It places a sidebar/taskpane into Word that makes it easy for users (specifically teachers) to use comment banks (templates) to add text to Word documents. The Manifest and code should be able to support Outlook in the same way - with a persistent sidebar using the same UI...just inserting selected comments into Outlook, not Word. The comment banks are edited/managed via a web app which is out of scope for this project. The Add-in is just the 'player' for content. See: [login to view URL] We will provide a Staging environment and Word source code so a developer can run the solution locally and see how it interacts with Word. Deliverables: * Extend Manifest and code to support Annotate PRO appearing in Outlook with the same functionality as in Word: find a comment and insert it through search, through browsing a menu structure, and through Favorite buttons that appear in the sidebar. * Insert HTML including bulleted/numbered lists, bolded/italicized text. * In Outlook, make sure the taskpane is perpetual if the user wants it. That is, close and reopen Outlook and the taskpane appears. * Make the Outlook taskpane dependent on a user having a trial or paid license (handled in the Word version already via a user properties variable) of Annotate PRO * Make the Outlook taskpane dependent on the user wanting to use it (probably handled by Microsoft...but many Annotate PRO Word users will not want to use the Outlook version). * Support native Outlook for macos and Windows. Support Outlook on the web in Chrome/Edge (probably supported by Microsoft's integration tools but calling it out to be clear about expectations). See [login to view URL] to learn more.
