Hello and thank you for taking the time to read our posting. � Werble is an iOS photo app which lets its users create animations using their own photos and a range of animated art and special effects (currently iOS only, but coming to Android). We are growing and wish to hire a single new multilingual team member to help provide technical support to our Chinese, Japanese and Korean users, and optionally to assist with social media posts localised for these languages. We are looking for a friendly and pro-active individual to assist us remotely on a part-time hourly basis with very flexible hours. Initially the work will focus on providing technical and general support to our user-base using a detailed FAQ based in English and with the constant support of our developers. Translators with no prior customer support experience should not worry - we do not require a technical background, and can provide enough support that translation skills alone will suffice as long as the candidate is willing to learn some very simple web-based tools for responding to customers. Whilst ensuring a happy user-base is their first priority, it would be a bonus to find a candidate who, afforded some creative freedom, is also comfortable with social media and able to help us improve our social presence in China / Japan / Korea. Ideally we're looking for a candidate comfortable with spoken/written Chinese AND Japanese AND Korean, or at least 2 of these 3 languages Our team will be on hand with plenty of help and guidance. If all goes well, and if desired, there is definitely opportunity to expand this role and take on more challenges and responsibility within the business. Work involves: - Initial short induction period: learning about our iOS app and a few simple web-based tools. - Monitor user app reviews, bug reports and feedback and respond to them using resources provided by the developer - a comprehensive FAQ is available and developer support will be provided to you as needed. - Monitor social media channels (Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube) and respond to comments and customers in order to foster a creative, constructive, positive and friendly community. - Liaise with the developer to handle customer issues that cannot be solved autonomously and incorporate the results into the FAQ for future customer interactions to insulate the developers and maximise the time they can spend developing the app. We can offer around 4-10 hours per week at first, but this is very likely to grow in the future as we expand. We are looking to fill this role for the long-term and expect to provide a stable position for the right candidate. Requirements: - Fluent in English, Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin/Simplified), Japanese and Korean - spoken and written. Ideally all of these languages, but at least English and two others. - Translation experience. - Smart, friendly and sensitive to the needs of others. - Willingness to learn about simple proprietary software (our iOS app and simple web-based tools) with appropriate guidance. Optional: - Familiarity with Youtube, Instagram, Facebook (including FB Business Manager tools), Twitter, Weibo, and other Asian social media would be very welcome. - Familiarity with iOS App development is a plus. - Knowledge of Asian social media platforms would be great. - An artistic or technical nature is a bonus.
