I work with circuit's design and firmware develloping Usually i Work with pic, ATmel, Arduino (Uno, Mega, Nano and Due), ESP8266 (boards like ESP12 and NodeMcu) For my firmwares I use C/C++ and Lua Script About your project: i believe you did choose a more complicated way to solve your task. If I understood, you want to control your Arduino by the internet, simple like that. Right? On your way, you will always need to have a computer power on and will have lots of steps between the user and Arduino, turning your control slowler. Why you dont use a ethernet or wif shield? In that way, you will have a completly independent Arduino conected directly to your internet router. You will just need a Arduino code with a HTML code.
