Hi, I have developed an VPN app in Ionic last month, it was based on IKEV2, I had created a custom plugin from scratch for VPN where I wrote native Swift code for iOS and Java code using ndk and cpp libraries to create a custom plugin. As android doesn't support IKEv2 natively, had to use cpp library for it, we can use openVPN or IKEv2 For AWS I have created many apps using AWS using cognito for authentication, Lambda for APIs and DynamoDB for DB.
