About the Role

The Full-Stack Magicians at Wildcats are the miracle workers of all things Wildcats. The Wildcats leadership aims to reinvent the way that Gen Zs connect and inspire passion and action across business and society, and we need ambitious and creative Magicians to contribute to both idea development and implementation in order for our vision to become reality.
Your main focus will be software development, but you will also be involved in the product design and development of our main portal, our innovation challenge platform, our upcoming social mobile application, and more.
As a Wildcat, you will be challenged daily to initiate and explore new ideas and experiment through programming and co-creation. This role is guaranteed to involve, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Write beautiful and charming code. Good craftsmanship is Alpha-Omega.
- Manage small and large-scale pieces of application development.
- Create and maintain deliverables across the project lifecycle. Research and innovate, spearhead initiatives using cutting-edge tools.
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain complex pieces of code. Leverage APIs.
- Release new code for the test and production environment.
- Peer review of code.
- Explore and solve bugs.
- Comprehensively test what the team develops.
- Take part in and contribute to ideation workshops and problem-solving discussions.
- Ask difficult questions, go against conventional wisdom, and challenge the status quo and superficial understanding.
Wildcats are Global; we are mostly based within Southeast Asia, but as long as you are willing to work mainly in Southeast Asian hours (GMT +7), you are welcome to be a Wildcat too!
About the Stack

We have a small and handy technology stack. Our platforms were built on the cloud, and our vision is to be able to make changes in our code base anytime, anywhere.
We utilize these main platforms and tools: Typescript, React, Node, AWS, Git, and MongoDB. We also use Figma, Miro, and Jira for design, collaboration, and project management. As an innovation-driven outfit, we constantly experiment with new tools and software that could better need our development, engineering, design, collaboration, or management needs.
