Hi, I am interested in this project. I am an android application developer with some basic backend/server experience. I can create the server part and the Android client part so that you can have a simple chat application mechanism. I have previous experience in implementing GCM in android apps so that they register themselves on a backend server for receiving push notifications. The way I assume your requirements is like the following: android client 1 -------> your server -----xmpp message--------> google gcm server ----------> android client 2 android client 2 -------> your server -----xmpp message-----> google gcm server --------> android client 1 Is the above logic the same as what you require?
