Task
Develop a password keeper android app that operates offline with the most suitable custom security criteria, able to:
• Generate passwords if required by the user and allows users to generate and store passwords for each of their various social media accounts such as Facebook, google, yahoo.
App functionalities:
• Allow user to create a master password to access the app at first.
• Allow users to store and generate passwords for their respective accounts.
• The system should accept user inputs and evaluate each character to check if the password contains strings such as all numbers, any word from the dictionary, or has a constant repetition of a number or single letter, also to detect if there are any ascending/descending alphabets or numeric digits.
• The system must be capable to examine inputs and check if they consist of any uppercase or lowercase letter and special characters
• The system should have a function that reminders the user to reset password after a while.
The app should allow a user to add additional accounts as well in order to store its password. “add account”. The app should not redirect users to the webpages of any account however the app should be utilized as a pocket password keeper for accounts with no exposure to the internet.
*password should be 14 digits
For a valid password,
a) Passwords between 6-10 characters must contain at least two uppercase, and one special character.
b) Passwords between 7-14 characters must contain at least three uppercase, two numeric digits and one special character.
