Purpose -We are an Auto Auction looking for a phone application in order to perform condition reports for automobiles. What is a condition report? -As you might have guessed it reports the condition of the vehicle. This is important for online buyers and for certain companies that require records before they sell vehicles from their fleets. What is in a condition report? - It generally includes photos of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. On average you will see at least 20 pictures of the vehicle. -There must also be a check list of features that must be verified on the vehicle. -It must include a way to include the vin number of the vehicle ( a vin decoder would be nice and might also help to fill out the features of the vehicle) - There is generally a mechanical portion to the condition report that includes items such as engine, transmission, 4x4 functionality, etc.. What we would like to see in the app - We would like to perform this report on a cell phone. - It should be a step by step process such as Step 1 - Enter Vin Step 2 - Verify Car Options Step 3 - Take Pictures Step 4 - Mechanical Analysis - The cell phone should easily be able to upload photos to wherever the condition report is being stored.
