Business Requirements: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Objective: Build a web application that allows users to register, create a profile and co-ordinate meeting with other registered users in an ambiguous manner. The site should be capable of near real time messaging upon meeting request being generated and or accepted. In essence, a virtual personal assistant. Other crucial functionality that is required within the application is geographic contextual recommendations and advertising. 1. A user can create an ambiguous profile that can be accessed using their created alias during the registration process or a unique confirmation/account number. 2. An administrative module that allows for approval of registration submissions. This should allow the admin to view the profile and select approve/dis-approved. Upon doing so the applicant should receive an email and or text message indicating their registration status and provide any feedback in the case the account was not approved. 3. A registered user's profile consists of a head shot and a short bio accompanied by links that will allow other registered users to request a meeting or communication of some sort. 4. The application must be capable to send text and e-mail appointments and confirmations to registered users. 5. A registered user can organize and manipulate their schedule on a finite basis(that means throughout each X of the day). 6. Registered users can send messages(within the application) and submit request for either a phone or face to face communication. 7. Users can access their daily calendar and messaging by computer or any web enabled mobile device. 8. Users can manipulate and rearrange their schedule. If an appointment with another member is rearranged, than a confirmation message will be sent to that user. Once a daily schedule is confirmed by the user, then a confirmation e-mail is sent. 9. Each approved meeting will result in both contacts information being saved to their own personal ‘Rolodex', along with any specified meeting locations. 10. Incorporation of mapping software, the application should help users located places to eat, have coffee, drinks based upon their home location they established with their profile. 11. Application should have the ability to book reservations and or provide recommendations for restaurants based upon an agreed or proposed meeting area. 12. Provide a section on the web page for vendors (restaurants, dry cleaners, flower services, etc.) can advertise and you can click to book. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Technical Requirements: --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Application MUST BE BUILT using the ASP.NET MVC framework as the underlying architecture using SQL Server Express as the underlying database. 2. Site skin should be built using DIVs & CSS with the capability of dynamically updating colors based upon request parameter(i.e. querystring value or form post value). 3. Site should be built in an SEO friendly manner. 4. All pages restricted to registered users reside within SSL.
