THE SOLUTION YOU PROVIDE TO MY JOB MUST BE SOMETHING THAT I CAN CHANGE / USE FOR FUTURE PDF's THAT I CREATE.

My PC is using - ACROBAT 9 PRO.

my created PDF will be read on multiple computers that will probably have the free version of Adobe.

( I can require they have the latest version ADOBE READER DC)

I have created a PDF that has a number of fields that the user fills in

ie. NAME, DATE, TYPE,

I have created a VISIBLE - NOT PRINTED "PRINT" button at the bottom.

When the person clicks the button, they change the printer to "Adobe PDF"

then a new window opens so that they can name the printed PDF.

WHAT I NEED DONE -

When the user hits the button, and change the printer (if ADOBE PDF is not their default already) I want the default "save PDF file as" name to be from information within the form.

example.

Form has: Name "BOB SMITH" Date "01-19-2019" Type "BIG"

I want the save as - auto populated name to be...

COMPLETE - BOB SMITH - 01-19-2019 - BIG.pdf.

I believe that this can be done with java script entered in button properties

I prefer, if possible, to NOT have to install any files on the end users computer but will be able to if necessary.
