Act for Peace is an international aid and development agency. We are looking for an events photographer to cover a local fundraiser for 1-2 hours. Ideally the photographer is also able to shoot a small amount of b roll footage, and take 3-5 informal, short 'VOX pop' style video interviews with good quality audio. The Christmas Bowl is Act for Peace’s flagship Christmas appeal, which raises money for disaster and conflict affected people all across the world. Every year, hundreds of Australians come together through community fundraising events including carol services, church services, street collections and other events, to raise money to support some of the world’s most vulnerable people. Photos, video and stories taken during Christmas Bowl Events will be used in future marketing and fundraising materials to inspire Australians to donate to the Christmas Bowl. They will be used as ‘social proof’ images on the website and in print materials to show the power of everyday Australians to make a difference to people around the world by organising local fundraising.
