Edit RAW Images in Lightroom - Part 4

UPDATE: People, please be professional and use some common sense:

CONDITION ZERO:

I don't care if you are a member of the WPJA or only started using lightroom 1 year ago.

I am looking for someone who has an elegant CONSISTANT style. Elegance = simple & effectiveness. If you have just started playing around with images or dabbling in photo editing then please gain your training elsewhere.

I don't have the time to be constantly sending screenshots of how I would want things to look only to find out that the simplest tasks cant be replicated by a lot of you.

1. USE [url removed, login to view] and not some service where the client either has to sign up first OR has to learn some foreign language to understand!

2. COMPRESS the jpegs to max. 1,5 MB ... its more than enough.

3. MAKE SURE you can actually download 35 GBs of RAW images within 48 hours.

IF you need LONGER to DOWNLOAD than I need to UPLOAD then you must be using a modem connection from 1997 and this partnership CANNOT work out even if you are a really good retoucher!

4. DONT BE SILLY - this project is set to a maximum of 250 USD. If you want to bid 600 USD you just have to look somewhere else.

5. READ the brief FULLY. Take time to check out the links and UNDERSTAND what is asked for.

Dear Freelancers,

The job I want to have done is SIMPLE, but NOT easy.

I am a wedding photographer and I need to have 600 to 700 pre-selected images edited.

Post processing wise I can vaguely describe my style as:

Cinematic (I shoot virtually only in landscape); for certain images i do a panorama crop where appropriate.

BW only if the lighting is not good (usually only bridal preparations and some bits of church ceremonies) or if the lighting in the shot provides inherent strong contrast.

I desaturate all my images by around 10%.

I like strong contrast. Rich warm tones. Rich black.

I use the gradient tool often to selectively dark the edges of an images especially when flash is used.

i like Strong colors but NOT overly saturated or cheasy.

Winner of this bid is the one that gets closest to my vision.

Winner gets to retouch one full wedding first. If the result is positive repeat business can be expected; including a wider range of responsibilties such as creating wedding websites in WP or uploading online galleries.

Post processing should be done with the tools avaliable in Lightroom only.

If skilled and done efficiently, you should be able to retouch a wedding in no more than 12 - 14 hours.
