I need a coder who is an expert at working with DataLists, Custom Server Controls, and dynamic display generation in ASP.NET. It is important the coder has a deep understanding of the above and the ASP.NET page lifecycle. The project is written in VB.NET and is described below. The problem: I have an existing calendar-type application that I'm upgrading to enable new functionality. When a user clicks a date on the calendar (the ASP.NET calendar control), a table is displayed which contains the events scheduled for that day. This table comes in two formats: a basic event list and an event list grouped by hour. Both views use datalists that are bound to an ArrayList of custom objects. Each item in the list is created dynamically in the control's ItemCreated and ItemDataBound events using the [login to view URL]() method. Mostly this works. However, the contents of each item contain custom controls. While those controls display, no events are fired from those controls. Specifically, the ItemCommand event of the DataList and the OnBubbleEvent of the ASCX (which hosts the app). I have attached a sample test bed project which is representative of the basic operation of the application. The coder should use this as the basis for the solution. The zip file contains a [login to view URL] which explains the specific requirements of the solution. A successful solution will be getting the testbed project to function correctly, meeting the requirements laid out in the [login to view URL] file. Questions are welcome.

I have edited the project for which you placed a bid. I have added a test [login to view URL] Web Project that can be downloaded. This project is representative of the problem domain. You can test/try your solutions before bidding or to adjust your bid.
The web project contains a ReadMe file with the specific requirements of the solution. A successful solution will be getting this web project to function correctly while meeting the requirements laid out in the [login to view URL] file.
Of course, feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Best,
Kelly
