**"CommunityFix" ??" Google Maps based Incident Reporting Website**

1. Visitor to the site wishes to report a problem in their area.

2. When they get to the web site they are taken through an easy to follow set of steps.

3. The first step would be to take the persons name, email address and telephone number (optional)

4. After this information is taken they would be asked to type in the Town or Road Name where the incident is located.

5. After this information is taken the user would be presented with a Google map of the selected area. The user would be able to zoom into the exact location of the incident on the map.

6. The user would click on the map. On clicking the map the user would be able to create a map marker that would describe the incident (Title i.e. Burnt Out Car ) and a brief description of the incident (Optional).

The option to upload a picture is required.

7. The map would then be updated with the new incident marker. The marker pin would also show the number of days that marker had been active.

8. An e mail would be sent out to the person leaving the information thanking them for highlighting this problem.

9. The information would also be emailed to the local council. Web interfaces were they can add ??" edit ??" delete markers would also be required.

10. Visitors to the site would also be able to view the whole of a designated area to view all incidents without having to leave an incident of there own.

11. A statistical summary should be available to show: Total Incidents on the map: Total over 7 days old : Number fixed this week for example.

Additional functionality and other ideas welcome.
