I would like maths teachers logging onto this new website to be able to set homework by selecting from a list of appropriate homework sheets, the class and level. Using auto processing the learners work is marked, graded and a progress report produced. Teacher can monitor group, classes and individual learner progress. Learners can monitor their progress and attempt levels above what the teacher set. Teacher must be able to setup groups, class lists, set the homework via selection and have access to pupil progress. Pupils homework will appear on their desk top when logged onto the site. They will answer questions which will be in the form of, single select, multiple select, list select, input value or true/false. On completion processing will automatically mark the test, give the % correct. Option to move on to next level, or review the test answers. The homework sheets will be of three types to allow differing styles of questions. The pupil will either select the answer or input a simple numeric [login to view URL] simple numeric answer will need to be checked against 2/3 very similar answers that are also correct. The website design will be simple and easy to follow, produced in FrontPage with a few simple graphics. once fully coded I want to be able to maintain and develop the site independently. Phase 1 -production and testing of the three types of worksheets. Phase 2 - setting up the teacher/pupil database, site access and administration. Phase 3 - testing and reporting. Required form the coder: website design and all the processing to achieve the above specification. Alan C Attached are some screen examples of the type of tables and question types to be produced
