I need a website made from scratch or from an existing script. This website should operate like [url removed, login to view] but will be for a specific niche. MiPhoto is a pretty good script to start with or you can make your own.  Link: [url removed, login to view]
I am strongly suggesting you use the above script. I have geared my instructions towards the script: the developer in order to edit the script must be proficient in PHP and have experience with largely dynamic webpages of the type.
I need to have users able to upload their own car photos and rate these photos. This website will be based on car modifications and most importantly, this needs to be simple and easy to navigate.
This website should operate similar to hotornot (in the sense that my website does basically the same thing with a different theme).
If the bidder needs more direction I can upload a visio sitemap flow for the modifications I'm about to list. If you are using the miphoto script my website will operate basically in the same fashion. A few modifications and additions to the website will be needed:
1.) Color scheme of the website will be altered. Right now the site is a dominant red and white. I would like mine to have a black and gray theme. I will provide a logo for the top left corner later.
2.) Rate Girls and Rate Guys should be combined into one category: Rate Modifications. Here is where people will see all the modifications that are listed.
3.) Replace the top row of buttons (top girls, top guys, new guys) to Top Mods, New Mods, Contact us, My Garage (lists all modifications that the user has posted)
4.) Replace the Rate Guys, Rate Girls, Rate Both toolbar (below the top list of buttons) to Rate Modifications, Forum, Videos
5.) I would like to put a sidebar where the “Main Menu” sidebar is on the left. This sidebar is for selection criteria. When the user clicks the selection criteria, the list that occupies the center of the page will populate accordingly. The criteria are: Year(Dropdown), Make (Dropdown), Model (Dropdown), Type of Modification (Dropdown)  Exterior, Wheels/Tires, Interior, Performance, Suspension, Brakes, Electronics. Last criteria are Aesthetics (checkbox), Performance (checkbox), lastly Price Range (drop down).
6.) Modify the submission page so that when someone posts a car modification they need to select the according criteria from above #5
The rest will follow the MiPhoto script loosely. When I select a coder I will feed them smaller edits that will be needed to fully customize the website (some of the headers under each specific listing will be changed for example.)
The objectives for the website:
1.) I need the miphoto script or a similar in function script modified to the theme of “rate my car modifications”. If the user proposes modifying another script or making the site differently please describe your thought process in your private message.
2.) I need a quick responsive worker or team that is willing to receive edits and updates as they are modifying the script or original website.
3.) Weekly updates with work hours recorded and bugs that are anticipated.
Preferably I would like a team just for time sake; however, if someone is versed enough in php and social networking-esque websites then you are welcome to take on the project.
Please in your bid list how long you think the project will take and how soon you can begin.
Please list any possible other engagements and whether or not they will account for a significant portion of your time.
Make sure that you are keeping in mind that I need someone who is flexible, I have only lain out the large modifications to the site. There are obvious smaller edits that will be needed as the project undergoes.
I will pay the bidder when we have made a website that meets all the criteria I have listed or that I am explicitly satisfied.
