Lingo - IMCE/MMOCC CLIENT

Hello my name is Zayyaf Saleem and I am a British national requiring assistance to create an MMOCC (massive multiplayer online chat community) which is an 3D Isometric Chat Environment such as Habbo Hotel UK. The above mentioned client is coded in Lingo, so therefore I would like it to be done in that as well. IsoInteractive could also be used to aid the development of the client, which I can provide for you. The person who is awarded the project can advise me on what is best to use. *** Before bidding on this project please play around in the game ([login to view URL]) for a bit to get to know what coding it requires and get a feel of what it is that I require etc. I do not want people who bid just to make money and in reality know nothing of what the project requires**** I want a freelancer who is passionate and dedicated enough to see this project to completion and beyond. They need to have extensive knowledge in their field as well what this project requires Director and Lingo. You will be required to create a chat client which incorporates all the features of the above said website, player side as well as administration side; however I will also be adding features of my own to make the game different and more interesting. This will be revealed to the winning bidder once all contracts are signed. The graphics will be in isometric view and will all be pixel art. These will be provided with once my pixel artists in the team create them and then it is up to the programmer to put them in place etc. So in other words this is a 100% programming job. The coder will also be required to program the server side of the game to get it up and running. This means they will need to have knowledge of PHP/MySQL aswell as C++. ## Deliverables You will be required to put in place a range of pixel art pieces which will be but are not limited to buildings exteriors, interiors, objects and/or characters. You will also have to code the functions of the game as in movements, actions etc. Nothing new, mostly what you see in games these days. If you agree to do this project I would like to show you my ideas since I have a lot of them but am quite unsure as to what Lingo is able to do. I do not know the limitations of this language so am unable to rule out ideas which cannot be done. That is something we will do once we come to an agreement. The payment will work like this, I have made a ten step plan, and each step outlines the progress of the client. So basically once each progress step is reached I will pay you. Rest assured that I am completely serious about everything that I propose and expect the same attitude in you. The payment will buy source code full ownership rights from you as well as full editing rights of the source code. My passion to get this project started is immense and has led me to research every aspect of the game thoroughly to prevent any time wasting once the game gets developing. I am not one of those people whom you might have come across on several forums who have a wild imagination and aim to make a game only on that. I have a well thought out business plan with sufficient financial backing to start the project with a firm base as well as making sure the game retains good quality graphics and game play. I would also like to inform you that this will not be a one time job; you will become part of the project and will be so during the period the contract will say. The contract which if you do take on the job will be made and required to be signed. ***I only want UK based coders to bid on this project. Once I have awarded the project to the winner I will want to meet them in person and discuss in further details the requirements of the project. *** The coder can work either in their own space or if they require an office can be provided for them with all the necessary equipment to get started. If at first you do choose to work in your own space that is okay but please know this, that once the game is up and running you will be most likely required to work at the companies’ office. Also please take note of the fact that although the project ends once the client is coded, employment opportunity with me does not end there. After the game’s launch regular updates and improvements will be made so please acknowledge this opportunity which will be made available to you once this project is completed. Details of which will be discussed when I meet you. The time it takes to get the project completed is an important factor. I want all of this to be done within 6-7 months. However without revealing exactly what I want I know this time frame can vary. But I would like it to be of this sort. Thankyou 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The client will be web based.
