PocketPC - Get IP Address

This is an application that will give a Pocket PC computing device the ability to attempt a number of techniques of obtaining an ip address via wireless providers. This is useful in areas with publicly available internet service but poor network support.

The algorithm would be:

Step 1:

list available wireless networks

- available protocols

- current traffic

- Is DHCP Available?

- Is WEP enabled?

- Is the WEP Key provided?

Step 2:

user selects network

Step 3:

System attempts to connect to network

A: DHCP if available

B: Static IP assignment w/WEP key if available

- private networks

C: analyze network traffic to guess ip

- present finding to user

- allow user to fill in the blanks

- gateway

- broadcast

- ip address

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
