PHP developer with MySQL in the South East

This is a re-posted project. We're very grateful for the response we received but feel we haven't quite found the right person. Please have a read and get in touch! An experienced PHP programmer is needed for a 1-2 month contract. The work is primarily for a CMS project from scratch with some additional smaller work as it arises. The CMS will come with a complete functional specification and the front end XHTML / CSS will be provided. Essential Requirements: * Available very soon, ideally within a week or fortnight * The closer to North Kent the better, able to work remotely and visit office as required * Must be capable of being left to own devices and therefore must be experienced enough to cope with most situations unsupervised (although all and any questions will always be answered with a simple call) * Provision of own IT setup including offline PHP & MySQL development, ideally on a Linux platform but not essential * Examples of previous work of a very similar nature with references * Smart, professional and approachable * Very willing and able to make suggestions as we are not primarily a PHP agency Non-essential Bonus Skills: * HTML / XHTML & CSS * Perl * Linux / Server / Networking skills * Flash / Actionscript * Design skills * Not just a code-monkey but someone that can be unleashed on clients as well * Flexibility on hours if required * Looking for on-going working relationship About Us: * Small local web agency * Running as Ltd company for 3 years * Expanding customer base of local companies with some larger organisations too * Oodles of experience of going into a customer, identifying their needs and producing a solution that more than meets their initial expectations * Friendly, supportive and like to have a laugh yet professional and ready to buckle down to serious hard graft Great opportunity to add a CMS from the ground up to the CV.
