Collaborative File sharing system(Website php/asp.net)

Scope of Project: Scope of project is to develop collaborative file sharing system. Collaborative writing is sharing of work between people. It may include the supervision/moderation as well, but the basic idea is to make individuals contribute in teams. This application will allow users to share files online. The users should be able to upload files online, and access it later for downloading. Users should be able to discuss about any available file (provided they have rights to access the file) openly i.e. All the users having rights to download the files, should be able to change the content of discussion. The application will allow users to create limited size accounts (in Gigabytes) to store files. ## Deliverables Functional and non-Functional Requirements: Functional Requirements: * System should allow anonymous user to chat with available online users. * System should facilitate anonymous user to sign up. * System should allocated storage space for registered user. * System should allow user to add/upload/edit/copy/paste/delete files and folder on his allocated space. * System should automatically version/reversion files upon upload/creation/edit/rewrite. * System should allow user to utilize space as team after approval from administrator * System should allow team members to access other team member password protected area. * System should allow team members to create manual auto alerts. * System should grant all permission to user's storage area to administrator. * Should allow administrator to create/delete any registered user or team. * System should confirm any team creation/deletion with administrator. * System should allow administrator to allocate reschedule storage space for any registered user or tea. Non Functional Requirements: ? Usability o Color blind people should not have any difficulty in using the system - color coding should take care of common forms of color blindness. ? Reliability o The system needs to support 7 x 24 operation ? Performance o Authorization should be completed within 1 hour. o Average authorization confirmation time should not exceed 4 hours. ? Portability o The system should work with most of the available internet browsers (MS IE 6 or later, Firefox, Google chrome). ? Access o System should be accessible over the internet - hidden requirement - security
