Here it is: we are a VERY small company, we have a freelancer who gets us sales contacts in one state, a sales guy who calls from home, and me who uses this information while managing everything else at the office. We all need to be able to access and modify the same Excel (or other) spreadsheet. I'm thinking: we can do this online, no? We don't want to set up our own database, Coldfusion, and all that. There must be a CHEAP service that does this, where we can upload and download .xls files (to back it up, otherwise the database would stay online). [login to view URL] does it for $65/user/month -- $195/month for us just to have a few kilobytes large database online? There has to be a cheaper, easier way. Whoever can suggest one that works will get paid $20. As you can see I have a perfect payment record, so you can make your suggestion/idea in public and if I use it I will indeed pay you (in other words please no "I have the answer but it's a secret" type thing). And I don't want to have each person have to download then upload an .xls file. What if two people need it at once? I don't want even to work in xls, I want it to be displayed as a web page and easy to enter info. I am looking for a SERVICE, that provides this to the many, many small companies like mine that need on online customer database. If I can send mass emails to select people in the database (everyone living in New York, for example) that would be a major plus. Does anyone know of such a service? It must exist.
