Quick fix for floating comment bubble in Wordpress

I have a wordpress theme which shows 5 extracts from posts on the home page. It shows the number of comments in a small bubble next to the post title. In firefox3/mac this is fine, in safari3/mac (and maybe others) the bubble gets progressively further away from the title. Needs some kind of coding to stop it doing this (clearing divs maybe?). In IE6/7 the bubble is just a bit low relative to the title height, needs a quick ie6/7 css hack to shift it up. problem: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] Thanks
