Hello,
I want to set up a very simple game on my website.
The idea is to have people come to the website and simply enter their email. In a few months, I want to randomly pick an email address from the database of emails, and designate a winner.
I would like the information to go into a MySQL database.
The only twist is that I want people to be able to play once (and only once) per day. In other words, if someone submits his/her email on day 1 for the first time, it will be stored in the database: name'at'[login to view URL]
If the same person tries to submit his email the same day, it will not be accepted.
However, on day 2, if the same person tries to submit his/her email, it should be ok. Maybe the entry in the database should be something like: name'at'domain.com_day2
I think this should be fairly straightforward.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
I would like to be able to change (i.e. translate) the error/confirmation messages that the user gets (ex: "you have already played today")
